fewer hours and irresistible fabrics

I know I’ve said it many times before, but this time it’s actually true. My work hours are getting cut. Margie, our main day person, is switching to nights (my usual time as well as Amys, who is livid at losing her hours and may quit!) and Casey is back from school. Since I don’t get a shit load of sign ups, I’m at the bottom of the valued employee list according to the new manager. That’s JoAnn’s for you.
ANYWAYS, now that my hours have dropped, I better start getting some things done right? Let’s hope so! Especially after yesterdays fiasco. My mom, her best friend, and I went on a little road trip to Youngstown and there abouts, and went shopping at Hobby Lobby, JoAnn Fabrics, and Hancock Fabrics. We did major damage at Hancock because the store was closing so everything was 60% - 70% off and there’s a 2 yard minimum. I originally went in thinking nothing good would be left. Oh how very wrong I was! Luckily me and my mom liked alot of the same things so we could split the 2 yard minimum. Damage for myself goes thus: JoAnn - 9 cuts of material + 2 remnants & 2 fat quarters, Hobby Lobby - 12 cuts of material + a pirate skull charm & 2 bandanas, Hancock - 20 cuts of material + 2 spools metallic Sulky thread & 1 package sequins (for Liz) & 1 pack tiny blue buttons. I’ll be paying my mom back for a good bit of time.
And that’s not even the whole awful truth really. Over the memorial day weekend JoAnn had a sale that included 50% of clearanced fabric starting Saturday. So that was bad enough, then flannel got marked down Sunday. Ohh how I love flannel! So there was many materials bought then as well. Like I said, I’ll be paying my mom for quite a bit of time, ’cause lord knows I don’t make enough to buy all that for myself upfront. Especially after getting my hours cut. It’d help if I got my ass in gear and start sewing and selling.
Other than that, same old same old. As usual. I’ll try to get some site shit done as well. I’m no sure what, but something. I’m thinking of closing a couple of my sites: FILTH and Explicit Content…? Neither of them are very active anymore so whats the point? It’s something to think about.
